We are home! Looking forward to seeing everyone this Wednesday at the Missions Banquet we will be ready with a full report of the trip. Please bring questions!
Desayuno en Miami
After our long flight from Lima, we arrived in Miami around 5:40 am. There we went through immigration and through Customs mostly without any hitches...
Then we walked a long way towards our gate for our flight to DFW, then realized that our stomachs were rumbling so we headed to Versailles for breakfast... not realizing that we were not yet done using spanish to communicate... haha

At Lima waiting for our flight to Miami
In Lima for a short 6 hour layover :)
We met one of Jon's friends from Morocco there and had some more autentico peruvian food, Pizza and wings for Jon and I and a Pork/chicken sandwhich for Abuelito Miles, haha so maybe we were done with Peruvian food... then we chatted with Jeremy, Jon's friend, and got some last minute things in the airport like coffee and Starbucks.

Saludos de Peru
Today was especially special. We went to 2 different community church
services. The first was in a small community por el otro lado del
montaña. This service was all in Aymara with the exception of a few
songs in Spanish. We got to share a couple songs (thanks for the
impromtou song translating abuelito) it was a blessing. After the
service was over we had 'Dinner on the Ground' (see above photo). We
had all kinds of things to eat: foot stomp potatoes, freeze dried
potatoes, and many more interesting things... See above and below
pictures.
After the Aymaran service we headed back to Huancané for a short nap then dinner with the Gradys. After dinner we went to another indigenous church service led by Hermano Reuben, this one was all in Spanish John Grady and I tagged teamed interpreting this service. We also got to share a couple songs here in this service as well. Some more things happened but we will share them with y'all at the Missions Banquet ;)

Greetings from Moho, Conima, Huancané!
¡Saludos de su Vision Team!
It has been a few days since I was last able to post, so I am going to catch you up on what has been going on down here in Peru.
As you know from our schedule we left Huancané on Wednesday, arrived in Moho then checked in at our 'hotel'. I say 'hotel' because it wasn't like any hotel that I have ever stayed in. I will explain to you more about that later. We then ate lunch(sopa de minestrone, chicarrones de trucha, y papas fritas) then headed out to Conima. There we headed up to the Mirador and prayed over the city.
Despues de esto, we head down to the square and met a local teacher and talked with him a bit. Then headed back to Moho. There we ate la cena de rotisserie chicken and more papas fritas. After we ate our food we headed back to the hotel and had a pow wow, with coffee, hot chocolate, and tea.
Thursday we woke early, the sun rises at 430am here, and headed back out to Conima with glasses, gloves, an kid packs in tow. We went into a store and spoke with the shop keeper, definately a person of peace, we gave them glasses and then asked them about the schools. The shop keeper's eyes lit up and ran to a school where her husband works. We ran after her and got to the school. At the school we spoke with the headmaster and we were able to hand out reading glasses to the professors and regalitas to the children. Then Jon, Miles, and myself went out to play with the children while John shared the gospel with the teachers. Jon and I played futból with the kids, alot harder than you might think 13,000 feet above sea level haha. We were invited to stay for lunch, arroz con hava, during lunch John continued his discussion with the headmaster and another school employee shared the gospel with them. We now have a great place of contact with that school. Despues de esto, we headed out into the street and compartir mas of the regalas to people in the street. Headed back to Moho, climbed a mountain, and ate some KFC... well no it was more indigenous flavor but had fried chicken as a segundo al sopa de patas pollos. Then headed back to hotel for another pow wow and devotional time.
Friday we woke up and then walked around Moho for a while.
After this we went out for a little side trip and ate some chicken, beef, sausage, trout, and alpaca... Yes alpaca. It was actually very tasty!
We arrived back in Huancané this afternoon. Tomorrow we are going to 2 church services. Will update with pictures tomorrow.

Hemos llegada en Lima, Peru
and Starbucks. Haha. Our next flight leaves at 5:55am (that's 4:55
your time) then a day of settling and rest. We have decided to keep a
close eye on Abuelito Miles as he seems to get lost easily... Smile...
Just Kidding.
