Soon to Leave!

Alright we are now down to counting on less than one hand! T-Minus 4 days until we leave! So excited as I am sure that you guys are looking forward to hearing how the trip went. My suggestion is to go ahead and get your passport ready to go, before you hear about the trip! :)

Just as a reminder we will be posting as much as possible, meaning anytime that I have access to internet via WIFI or other means :)

Please feel free to comment and leave any questions that you might have. We will try to answer them either via the blog or the Missions Banquet on November 11.

Getting Ready to Leave

In less than two weeks, 02 November 2009, 11:25 am, Mile Philips, Jon Ratzlaff, and Justin Lee will be leaving, on a jet plane... (any songs pop into mind?), heading towards Conima, Peru. We will update this blog as much as possible and keep everyone informed as to what our progress is and also with what is going on.

Please pray for us as we prepare mentally, physically, gastronomically(guinea pig anyone?), and spiritually for what we will encounter while on our trek towards the highest navigable lake in the world, Lake Titicaca. The purpose of this journey is to observe and experience first hand the culture and lifestyle of the Aymara people and report back to the church.

¡Muchas gracias para tus oraciones y peticiones! We appreciate your prayers and your support!

¡Que te vaya bien!
